What a weekend!

This weekend was wonderful. So much happened, a bridal shower, a baptism, a wedding, a confirmation, a blessing and an overdue thanksgiving dinner. It was a very spiritual weekend full of happy tears and lots of loves. Here are some pictures from our wonderful weekend...

Friday night we took my sister out for a girls night to celebrate her getting married. We took her to the mall and did a scavenger hunt. We had her find or do things that would embarass her along the lines of "sexy stuff". It was a blast!

Find a manequin and get get cozy with him. it was supposed to be smooch a manequin, but we couldnt find any that had a head.

Find an older guy and ask to take a picture with him. It was originally, find a guy to smile at you, but she was soooo embarassed by that. Then it was you are getting married tell a guy you are getting married tomorrow and that was embarrassing too. So we settled on find an older guy and ask to take a picture with him.

Find a cell phone booth and pick up a phone and start having a conversation. Funny stuff!

Then we took her to applebees and got cute little sundays and ate them all up, and had a lot of fun!

Saturday morning was to be big. First Michael, Lianna's finace, was to be baptized a member of the LDS church. He made this choice because he feels it is what he is meant to do, and he has felt the truthfulness of what he has been taught. He has found happiness in the church and knows he has been led into God's plan for him. Congrads Michael, we are very proud of you.

Randy was honored to fill Michaels request to perform the baptism.

The full time missionaries worked with Michael and helped him to make the choice to be baptized.

Shortly after the baptism, Lianna and Michael were to tie the knot. The wedding turned out beautiful. I can't believe my sister is married. They are so cute together and we wish them the very best as they journey into a new chapter of life.

This really looks like their kids. I found this picture pretty funny!

Sunday Michael was confirmed a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. It was a sweet experience. Also Daniel was given a name and blessed by his daddy.

Randy has always called our boys princes. Because of this we have always added a little bit of gold to thier pure white outfits (the buttons). With Daniel, we found a white outfit that had embroidered crowns on it and then I found this amazing blanket that said "Prince" on it. I had never spend $20 bucks on a baby blanket, but this one was worth it, and it made this perfect picture :)

To finish off our weekend, we invited family over for Thanksgiving dinner. Since I was in the hospital for Thanksgiving, we thought this would be nice, and it was. Kinda hecktic, but it was fun. I think I used every dish I own, and what a mess my kitchen became.

My mom found a recipe for these cute cupcakes and everyone enjoyed them. Aren't they cute?

So we had a great weekend, and wanted to share our experiences with you. Hope you enjoyed the pictures, and we hope you are all doing well.
