HAPPY NEW YEAR!

Cousin Karen surprised Lianna on the 31st. She was supposed to come in March. I made Lianna think my girlfriend "Julie" was returning from Christmas vacation and needed a ride home from the airport. I made cookies for her, talked to my kids about her and even got a couple fake calls from her. Little did Lianna know, I don't even have a friend named Julie. She thought she had a clue early on, but then threw that idea out cause I gave my "friend" a name. It was histerical.

When we arrived at the airport, Lianna didnt see her till we actually got right up in front of her. Her response- I guess cause she doesn't surprise well was "oh crap!" Boy was that a joke for the rest of the night!

So along with Karen and Lianna, we invited my friend Shelley and her family. They are our closest friends here and we always have a good time. We spent New Years Eve with them last year, and thought we were too loud and crazy for them, but apparently we didn't scare them off cause they came back!

After the excitement of the ball dropping passed, we went outside to play with sparklers. Once I figured out how to make the camera capture the sparkler trail, we had a ton of fun. Look at these pictures!
